First Lines Friday is hosted by Wandering Words for book lovers!

The Rules are:

Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
Finally… reveal the book!

I thought it would be fitting to choose All the Bright Places as it is being adapted into a film on Netflix. It is being released on the 28th February 2020. I started reading the book three years ago but just got too busy to finish it at the time. With the upcoming film, I feel like I need to pick it back up again in preperation!
