Christmas Book Blogger Tag

Hello! Another late blogmas post for you today, but at least it is better late than never! I thought I would do another Christmas book tag today! This one I saw over on Rachel @ Confessions of a Book Geek and it looked super fun and like a quick one to do for you today! Let’s get into it.

What is your favourite Christmas scene in a book?

I am awful at remembering specific scenes from books, so this is a really hard one for me! The only one I can think of right now is the ending scene in Midnight in Everwood by M.A. Kuzniar but I can’t be specific with it because it is a major spoiler for the book!

Do you have any Christmas book traditions?

Not really! Now Blogmas, because this is my third year doing it! Other than that, not really – I just try to read Christmas books or a couple at least.

Do you prefer to get presents of book vouchers or books?

Books! If it is a book voucher, I will forget about it and it will just end up going to waste.

Do you give books as presents?

Yes! I gift my mum books more than anyone, but I love gifting books. Especially when the person I am gifting them to is just starting to get into reading. It is great!

What bookish item is on your Christmas wishlist?

I only have books on my wishlist this year! I don’t have many items that aren’t books that I would want. I am not really into many bookish accessories beyond bookmarks.

What 3 books would you love Santa to have in his sack for you?

Fake Christmas tree or real Christmas tree?

We have always had a fake Christmas tree, but I would love a real one one day!

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?

I love the cosy vibes and all of the decorations. I just love the season so much. It is cold, it is really cheery but it is just so cosy and nice! I love it.

What Christmas book would you recommend?

The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox or Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan or A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone or Wrapped Up in You by Talia Hibbert – there is just so many!

What dish on your Christmas menu are you most looking forward to?

Our Boxing Day tradition is to make turkey pancakes and it is weird for some people, but it is my favourite meal of the year!

When do you open your Christmas presents?

First thing Christmas morning!

What’s your favourite Christmas song?

I am terrible at choosing! But I feel like All I Want For Christmas is a classic!

Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?

Always! And especially as the weather has been very white so this week! It has been snowing and icy and I love this weather so much.
