5 Star Predictions

Hello! Recently, so many of my highly anticipated books have been released. A lot of them I have predicted to be 5 stars, so I thought it would be a good chance today to talk about a few of them, and then I can check back on this in a few months and see how accurate I was!

Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I have read a few of Taylor Jenkins Reid novels now, and all of them have been 5 stars. Of course, that means that with every new book, there are high expectations and more pressures, but I am still hopefully that this is going to be a 5 star read! I have seen a lot of people post that the novel is out, but I haven’t yet read any reviews, so time will tell how good this book is.

The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean

I stumbled across this book a month ago, and the premise behind it fascinated me! I instantly bought it, and have been wanting to dive into it ever since. The idea behind it is there are these groups of beings that survive off consuming books and they absorb the information from the books. If the children have been bad, they are forced to eat dictionaries because they ‘taste musty’. It sounds fascinating and dark and I cannot wait to read it.

Book Lovers by Emily Henry

Ever since I read You and Me on Vacation by Emily Henry, I have been wanting to read some more of her work! I have her first novel on my shelf, and Book Lovers has just come out a couple of months back. I can’t wait to read this. I am a little worried that I have missed the window to read this just yet. I am a seasonal mood reader, and romance is often a Spring/Summer read, but I might use this one to close off the Summer and truly start Autumn!

Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

I haven’t yet read The Love Hypothesis yet, but I know it is a beloved book over on TikTok! Love on the Brain sounds just as intriguing to me and I think it has the potential to be a five star read. We are now in Autumn, and I associate romance more with Spring/Summer, so I am unsure whether I will get to this one soon!

Stone Blind: Medusa’s Story by Natalia Haynes

I have always been intrigued by Medusa, but I don’t know too much about her. I have always loved retellings, so this one has been on my mind ever since it was announced about a year ago. I have such high hopes for this book, so when I finally receive my copy, I will be diving straight into this one!

That is all for now! Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you rate them? And let me know in the comments, what books on your TBR that you think will be 5 stars!
