Life in Books Book Tag

Hello! Today I am diving back into the large pile of posts in my drafts and picking out another book tag. This was one that I found on Lost in Neverland, months and months ago, like in September, and I have just had the link saved in my draft ever since.

Find a book for each of your initials

K – Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco

J – James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl

F – The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary

Count your age along your bookshelf – what book is it?

24 which is – All the Tides of Fate by Adalyn Grace! This is the sequel to All the Stars and Teeth. Neither one I have read, but I really, really want to!

Name a book set in your city/country

I don’t think I will ever find one that is set in my town, but the closest is probably The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. That was the first ever audiobook that I listened to that was not a reread! That book is a kind of weird milestone for me in that sense.

Name a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to

Tweet Cute by Emma Lord – or any book that is set in New York! I’ve read so many books set in New York and it has always been a dream for me to travel to the city so I will have to put this one for this answer!

Name your favourite childhood book

Honestly, anything by Jacqueline Wilson! I spoke about this recently in my post: Books that Have Shaped Me. I loved so many of her books while growing up: My Sister Jodie, or the Girls series, or Clean Break, or Double Act, or The Lottie Project, or Bad Girls, or Midnight, or The Diamond Girls, etc, etc, etc. Funnily enough – I never liked any of the Tracy Beaker books! I never got into them.

Name a book that’s your favourite colour

Pink! I have my books organised by colour, so all of my pink books take up one shelf and it is probably my favourite shelf. For this one I will pick a book I don’t talk about often which is Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams.

Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

So so so many books! I think I will pick When the Curtain Falls by Carrie Hope Fletcher because I had been really struggling with reading books at that point and it felt like a mini breakthrough.

Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

Lately, again, I have been struggling with reading any book. I am in a little bit of a reading slump, but I’m not ready to admit I am in one! I have only read 3 books this year so far, so I am struggling! I have been reading House of Sky and Breath for nearly a month now, so definitely struggling.

Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?

Any book from this post: Books that have been on my TBR for way too long! I have quite a few books on my TBR that have been there for years, so any of those will be an accomplishment.

I’m not going to tag anyone, so if you want to do the tag you are more than welcome to – please let me know if you decide to do it!

  1. Adored reading the two first releases of Carrie Hope Fletcher and can´t wait to continue on with them, she definitely is an autobuy author for me. Feels like reading modern day fairytales. I had so much fun reading through your answers. I will definitely do it myself later this month so thanks for the inspiration 😀
