Top 5 Tuesday

Five Books I Want to Reread in 2022

Hello! Today I have another Top 5 Tuesday. Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, but now it is hosted by Meeghan at Meeghan Reads. And this weeks topic… is not books I want to reread in 2022. It is actually Top 5 Books with Doorways, however I wasn’t feeling very inspired by this prompt. I missed all of the January and February prompts, so I decided to go a little rogue and do another weeks topic. I didn’t travel too far back in time, this prompt was last weeks prompt!

If you have been a long term reader of this blog, you might remember that I love rereading books. I have so many posts about rereading books, so I thought this prompt was ideal for me! I haven’t had a chance to properly think what I want to reread this year, so let’s work through this together.

The Road Trip by Beth O’Leary

I love this book. I am probably annoying all of the lovely readers by talking about this book so much. But, I just love it so much. Ever since I read it in June, I have not stopped thinking about the characters and the story. I have been thinking a lot more about it recently too which normally indicates for me that I need to reread it! I think I want to reread all of Beth O’Leary’s novels this year! I read The Switch and The Road Trip last year and I read The Flatshare in 2020. Beth O’Leary has another novel coming out this year and I am so excited!

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I loved this book when I first read it in February last year. I have fallen quite behind in this series. I think there are now two more books out and there is about to be another release, so I really need to catch up. However, I don’t really remember much of the first two books that I have read – especially the second book. All I remember from the second book was the ending and that is not ideal when continuing the series!

A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown

I read A Song of Wraiths and Ruin as part of the Easter Readathon last year and I really loved it! Book two has now come out and I definitely need to refresh myself of the story and the character. So, I need to reread this one before I can move on to the second book. I am not mad about it. I can’t wait to be back in the world!

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

For the longest time, I considered this book my favourite book. I read it when I was fourteen or fifteen and loved it. I couldn’t get my hands on a copy of my own until last year. I have been wanting to reread it for the longest time, but part of me is a little apprehensive. I don’t know if I consider this book to be my favourite novel anymore, but for so long I did, and I am not sure if I am ready for that to be potentially crushed. I do really want to reread it though, so hopefully I will take the leap this year!

The Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

And finally, I do want to continue my reread of the Vampire Academy series. I have read the first two books so far! I am doing a series on my blog that is The Reread Diaries and Vampire Academy was my first pick for that. I still need to finish my notes on book two, before I can move on to the rest of the series. I had a lot of nostalgic fun with the first two books, so I can’t wait to continue it!

I know that I will be rereading a lot more than just this selection in 2022, but this is a start! What books do you want to reread in 2022? Sorry Meeghan for going off topic this week, but at least I am back with the Top 5 Tuesdays! (Well, sort of, because I am doing a late prompt… but you know!)

    1. I never finished the Bloodlines series when I first read it! I didn’t get passed book 3. I never really liked Adrian though, so to then go into a series about him was a little boring for me. However, this time around I am loving his character, so I will hopefully read the series in full this time!
