Hello! Today, I have another Christmas Book Tag for you. I was actually struggling to come up with today’s post until I stumbled upon the Naughty or Nice Book Tag on Aimee’s Ramblings. So I am so grateful for finding this one, or Blogmas may have been over on day 8 for me!

Received an ARC and Not Reviewed it

Regretfully, yes. I have received some incredible ARCs this year and unfortunately there are some that I haven’t gotten to. I am hoping to read them, but at a later date! Similarly to Sixteen Scandals by Sophie Jordan – I received the ARC a year ago, and only last month did I get around to reading it and posting my review. So, I will get to them eventually!

Have Less than 60% Feedback Rating on Netgalley

Yes… unfortunately my Netgalley percentage is sitting at an awful 43%. I am hoping to improve on this in 2022!

Rated a Book on Goodreads and Promised a Full Review Was to Come and it Never Did

I don’t think so! I don’t really use Goodreads for reviews anymore, though I need to definitely get better at posting my reviews onto Goodreads as well as on my blog! I also need to get better at posting them on Instagram too. Another goal for 2022.

Folded Down the Page of a Book

Absolutely not. No, no, no. I spoken so many times about how this is one of my bookish pet peeves!

Accidentally Spilled on a Book

I don’t think so! I feel like I would remember if I had to be honest, so no. I am so careful with my drinks around my books. I am so scared of accidentally spilling drinks on my books!

DNF a Book This Year

I have started many books this year and then put them down. However, I don’t think any have been a DNF – more of a ‘I’ll return to you later’ kind of books. I can’t think of one that I want to never pick up again.

Bought a Book Purely Because it was Pretty with no Intention of Reading it

I have every intention of reading it, but my purchase of Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim was purely because of the stunning cover!

Likely always! I feel like I am always meant to be doing something when I am reading. Most likely writing up reviews…

Skim Read a Book

This year I haven’t been reading many books in a physical format (mainly audiobooks) but the last book I did skim read was The Meeting Point by Olivia Lara and that was because I was a bit behind and had to rush the book in order to get the review out on time.

Completely Missed Your Goodreads Goal

The year is not over! I am currently at 66/75. I am really hoping that I can get to my goal by the end of the year!

Borrowed a Book and Not Returned it to the Library

I have been terrible at visiting the library in recent years, so I haven’t taken one out to not return!

Broke a Book Buying Ban

I haven’t really restricted myself this year, although my bank account is screaming out for me to.

Started a Review, Left it for Ages then Forgot What the Book was About

Yes, yes and yes! I have actually had to leave reviews altogether because so much time had passed. It is also partly why my Discussion Posts on the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas did not continue, because I pushed through the series at the end too quickly and then the books blended together, I put them off for too long and they just ended up staying in the drafts!

No. I feel like I am very on top of my Goodreads!

Borrowed a Book and Not Returned it to a Friend

My colleague did let me borrow a couple of books in the summer that I still haven’t returned!

Dodged Someone Asking if they Can Borrow a Book

I feel like my friends know how protective of my books I am and so they never ask to borrow them. Plus, they aren’t the biggest readers!

Broke the Spine of Someone Else’s Book

Nope!

Took the Jacket off a Book to Protect it and Ended Up Making it More Damaged

I always take the jacket off of my books when reading them, but I don’t think any of them have become damaged because of it! Thankfully.
