Hello, today I have another book tag for you. I was recently tagged to do this post by the lovely Georgia @ Lost in Neverland. I haven’t done a tag like this before, at least not recently that I can remember, so I’m really excited to get on with it and see what my answers will be.
Last Book I Bought:
The Shelf by Helly Acton. I think I am actually going to read this one soon! From my understanding it is set in a reality TV show, which just sounds really intriguing to me!
Last Book I Reread:
I am currently rereading the fifth book in The Mortal Instruments series: City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. But the last book that I reread that I have finished was Heartstopper: Volume One by Alice Oseman! I am hopefully going to reread Volume Two and Three soon so that I can read Volume Four!
Last Book I Gave Up On:
I haven’t DNF’d a book in a while, but the last book that I started and put aside for now was Love is a Revolution by Renée Watson. I am not in a Young Adult contemporary mood, so I had to put it down because I plan on reviewing the novel and didn’t want my mood to impact the review.
Last Book I Said I Read But Didn’t:
I don’t tend to say I have read books that I haven’t read, so I’m not sure on this one.
Last Book That I Wrote in the Margins of:
Never. I hate, hate, hate defacing books so none of my books have ever been written in. The most I would do at university was write on post it notes and stick them n the pages, but I haven’t done that since university either.
Last Book That I Had Signed:
It is Circus of Wonders by Elizabeth Macneal. I picked this one up the last time I went to Waterstones. I wasn’t one I went in for or one I had even heard of before I saw it, but once I read the synopsis, I couldn’t put it back on the shelf. It was a wonderful surprise when I got it home and saw it was a signed edition!
Last Book I Lost:
I don’t think I have ever lost a book. Like Georgia said in her post, if I have lost one, I haven’t realised yet!
Last Book I Had to Replace:
I don’t think I have ever replaced a book – however there’s a couple of my university ones that I kept for sentimental reasons that I need to replace because when my dog was a puppy, he had a particular interest in destroying my books.
Last Book I Argued Over:
This one is difficult! I am not sure. None of my friends are really huge readers, so I never talk to them about individual books. I think the last argument I had about books was that romance books shouldn’t be seen as a dumb genre and that it doesn’t make someone less intelligent.
Last Book You Couldn’t Find:
Similarly to the ones that I have lost – I don’t really misplace my books, so I always know where they are.
I tag: Lauren @ Lala’s Book Reviews ~ Bertie @ Luminosity Library ~ SeeGirlReadTBR ~ Meg @ Meg’s Magical Musings
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s answers! Thank-you again to Georgia for tagging me in this book tag, it was nice to talk about a few books that I haven’t mentioned on my blog before!
Love your answers! I hate writing in books and only did it for copies of certain books for my A Levels, and if it was a book I loved then there was no way I was writing in it!
