I’ve had such a productive reading week this week, so I thought I would do another WWW Wednesday! I don’t usually do these two weeks in a row, but because I’ve had such a good reading week, I figured I would continue the trend. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
There are just three questions to answer:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you Currently Reading?

I am currently reading so many books – terrible I know! I am reading nonfiction books to do with writing: On Writers and Writing by Margaret Atwood and Get Started in: Writing Science Fiction and Fantasy by Adam Roberts. I have recently began a new writing project so I am trying to do as much research before and during the early stages of the writing process and it’s going really well.
I am also rereading A Court of Wings and Ruin in preperation for next week when A Court of Silver Flames comes out. I am so excited for the new installment and really enjoying my reread. I’m actually reading it a lot slower this time round and I think it’s the slowest I have ever read it, which is actually nice in a way to really absorb the story.
And, finally I am reading Flame in the Mist by Renée Ahdieh. I have had this book on my TBR for so long and I finally decided to pick it up a few days ago. I am also reading this one slowly, but I am enjoying it. I have spoken previously about struggling with keeping my concentration on reading physical books and I find it difficult at the moment. Right now, I tend to listen to audiobooks whilst following along with the book and really trying to retrain my brain to stay concentrated – it probably sounds very silly. Flame in the Mist doesn’t have an audiobook – or it at least isn’t available to me, so I am reading it physically and so far I am doing well at staying connected with the story. I hope it stays that way.
What did you Recently Finish Reading?

I recently just finished Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron. If you’ve been following my blog for a while – particulaly in December, I spoke a lot about how Cinderella is Dead was one of the new releases from last year that I really wanted to get to. I never got round to it last year and was gutted. However, I recently got my hands on a copy and finally read it; and I’m gutted to admit that I was very disappointed. I’m going to have a review come out soon about it, but I just didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as I thought I would. It was a quick read. The idea behind it was incredible, I just didn’t enjoy the writing style or the execution of the story.
What do you Think you’ll Read Next?
I am going to reread A Court of Frost and Starlight for sure after I finish A Court of Wings and Ruin. I actually have many options for when I finish the others, which is excting. Some of these including: Sherwood by Meagan Spooner, Lovely War by Julie Berry, The Sad Ghost Club by Lize Meddings, so I don’t know what I am going to pick up next!

I am also reading A Court of Wings and Ruin! I am hoping to read ACOWAR and ACOFAS before next week when ACOSF hits the stores. It is really nice to re-read all the books in close succession as I have not yet re-read all of the books this close to each other before!
