WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday

This week I’m taking part in WWW Wednesday, it is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

There are just three questions to answer:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you Currently Reading?

I am currently reading All That She Can See by Carrier Hope Fletcher. I’ve been reading this book for a little while now. I haven’t sat down and picked up a book for about a week now. I just haven’t been in the mood to read and have been focusing on keeping up with all of the news with the Black Lives Matter movement. I need to workout a way to balance the two and probably need to set some time to read, most likely in the evening time.

I am also listening to the audiobook for The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. I’ve had a little more luck at making my way through this one this week. I am about three hours into the audiobook and I am really enjoying it so far! It’s definitely a harder read and less light-hearted than All That She Can See but it is an important read and I am glad I’m reading it.

What did you Recently Finish Reading?

I just recently finished Nineteen by Makenzie Campbell, a poetry collection. I reviewed it and you can see my thoughts here.

What do you Think you’ll Read Next?

I am really lucky at the moment and have so many options! I think my top three are Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender, Flat Share by Beth O’Leary and Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert. I think Little & Lion will be my next audiobook read, but I will have to decided in the moment for my next physical read!

What are you currently reading?

  1. Currently reading Living Dead in Dallas” (The Sookie Stackhouse series) by Charlaine Harris.

I finished “My Booky Wook” by Russell Brand a few weeks ago.

I will probably read the next in the Sookie Stackhouse series.
