During the long Easter Weekend, I took part in the Easter Readathon hosted by Kate @ Reading Through Infitnity. You can check out my TBR here.
There were five prompts:
- Read a book that gives you spring vibes
- Read a book about new beginnings
- Read a book that’s under 250 pages
- Read a book with a yellow or green cover
- Read a book involving family/friends
I managed to complete four of the prompts with three books!
A Book About New Beginnings
I read Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore for this prompt. I finally got round to reading this one in full after starting it last year. As it had been so long, I started from the beginning to remind me of the story and I was suprised at how much I remembered. I read it in one sitting and it was a beautiful story.
A Book That’s Under 250 Pages and A Book Involving Family/Friends
I read Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell. It felt a little strange reading about a pumpkin patch in April during a spring themed readathon, but I enjoyed it nonetheless! I needed a quick read that was going to distract me for a little bit and Pumpkinheads was perfect for it!
A Book with a Yellow or Green Cover
I read Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman and it was amazing. The Arc of Scythe series as a whole so far has really exceeded my high expectations for it. It left me speechless after I finished it. I can’t wait to get to The Toll.
I did also read 215 pages of Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston but I didn’t manage to finish it in time. In total I read 1,268 pages which I am really happy with!
Nice achievement!! 🙂 Which one did you enjoy the most out of the three?
